Auditioners are asked to prepare a one-minute comic monologue and may be asked to read scenes from the script.
Auditioners for the roles of Peaseblossom, Cobweb, and Mustardseed are asked to prepare a 30-second selection from a standard to sing a cappella.
Those auditioning for The Company will be given a movement routine to perform.

Note: This production of Shakespeare’s classic magical comedy is set in Athens, NY circa 1935 around the opening of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. It will be exploring not only the world of small town depression era America, but the folklore and mystical traditions of the Catskills – in other words, William Shakespeare meets Washington Irving. The production will incorporate comedy, music, magic, and dance/movement.

The role of Puck is precast. All other roles are open.
