“slamming doors, mistaken identities, split-second timing and the constant threat of exposure and humiliation…. the velocity of events going wrong (incriminating garments show up in inappropriate rooms, flights are cancelled) keeps increasing.”
“a traditional farce — silly, fast-paced and oftentimes has an unlikely plot.”
“Newbie director Noelle Hedgcock hit the jackpot when she auditioned (Chels Elle) Lembo whose devil-may-care characterization of the over-worked and under-appreciated housekeeper effectively steals this show”
“intoxicating and exhausting confection now enjoying an energetic run at the Central New York Playhouse.”
This 1960’s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time.
